BALMAIN | FRAGRANCE CONFIDENTIAL PRESS PREVIEW, Creative Direction
Lavain, New York

For Balmain Beauty, I conceptualized and directed the creation of olfactive sculptures: a multi-sensory installation designed to bring the brand’s signature fragrances to life during exclusive events and activations. Departing from traditional floral arrangements, I developed sculptural interpretations of Balmain’s two bestselling perfumes, offering a visual and olfactory experience that immersed guests in the essence of each scent, highlighting their key notes.

ROUGE: a sculptural embodiment of an “electrifying fruity floral bouquet flirting with radiant woods.” This piece celebrates the sensual notes of red lilies, exotic morae ciliate, and the warmth of georgywood. The sculpture was realized in two forms: an elongated, architectural silhouette and a softer, more rounded composition—each echoing the duality of elegance and intensity present in the fragrance.

BLANC GALAXIE: described as “the bursting light of hope,” the fragrance is captured through a bright, citrus-forward sculpture built around the vibrancy of lemons and the delicacy of white florals, particularly orchids. This piece was designed to convey the fragrance’s luminous and uplifting character through both its visual presence and its scent diffusion. Both olfactive sculptures were realized with live florals and fruits, working with select floral designers in NYC and LA.
