Directed the complete redesign and strategic overhaul of the Tom Ford gondola for Sephora. Tasked with reimagining the gondola to better reflect the brand’s prestige while optimizing for performance, I led the project from concept to execution under a fast-tracked, six-month timeline.
The challenge was clear: evolve the retail presence to reflect Tom Ford’s elevated identity while delivering a compact, efficient, and customer-friendly design, without compromising the brand’s signature sophistication. The vision centered around translating the essence of Tom Ford into physical form. The final design weaves in iconic codes like the glossy dark metals, rich textures, and the unmistakable gold “T” detail, all carefully composed to create a sculptural, modern aesthetic that immediately signals luxury. Materiality played a critical role, with upscale finishes and tonal contrasts that brought depth and refinement to every surface.
Designed with agility in mind, the gondola allows for effortless campaign and product updates, enabling the brand to respond quickly to launches and retail shifts. Customer navigation was a key focus, resulting in a layout that invites exploration and simplifies the path to purchase.
Realized under an exceptionally tight six-month timeline, this project not only delivered on creative ambition but also proved its strategic value: tripling productivity in less than a year and earning enthusiastic feedback across retail teams. A true fusion of brand storytelling, thoughtful design, and business performance.
