FREDERIC MALLE | ARMORY SHOW & HEAVEN CAN WAIT PR DINNER, Creative Direction & Experiential Design
Armory Show & Electric Lemon, New York

In celebration of Frédéric Malle’s deep-rooted connection to the world of art, I creatively directed and executed the brand’s presence at The Armory Show, New York’s iconic art fair, where Frédéric Malle was a featured sponsor. This project fused the codes of luxury fragrance with the language of modern art, transforming scent into an elevated visual and experiential installation. The exhibition space was designed as a curated gallery experience, featuring the portraits of the perfumers and the iconic Frédéric himself, on one of the walls of the installation. Fragrance bottles were elevated as sculptural objets d’art, presented against a bold and minimal backdrop inspired by the brand’s signature orange hue, a visual cue synonymous with Frédéric Malle’s refined identity. At the heart of the space, I conceived a mirrored chamber that served as an immersive environment for projecting the brand’s latest campaign, offering visitors a reflective, cinematic escape into the world of the newest scent. To honor the opening night of The Armory Show, I also led the creative direction and execution of a private VIP dinner hosted by the brand at Electric Lemon. Collaborating with external vendors, the show’s production team, and a PR agency, I oversaw every detail: from branded tote bags and hand-stitched orange napkins to sculptural florals designed by Raul Ávila, the visionary behind the Met Gala’s installations. Display moments at the dinner highlighted the brand’s artistic lineage, celebrating its intersection with craftsmanship and culture. This project was a seamless blend of art, design, and scent, crafted to position Frédéric Malle not just as a fragrance house, but as a patron of creative expression.
