TOM FORD | OUT OF HOME EAU D'OMBRÉ LEATHER CAMPAIGN, Creative Direction
Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles
As part of the regional creative leadership for Tom Ford Beauty, I oversaw the execution of a key out-of-home campaign for the launch of Eau d’Ombré Leather, a new interpretation of the brand’s iconic fragrance franchise. This project focused on one of the most high-profile placements in Los Angeles: Sunset Boulevard, a location synonymous with luxury, visibility, and bold creative statements. The primary challenge laid in adapting the global campaign visuals to the unique dimensions and architectural nuances of the building. Working closely with the Global Creative team and an internal agency, I led the creative layout process to ensure the asset retained its visual integrity and bold impact, without distortion, while respecting the structure’s proportions and spatial limitations. From tonal adjustments for optimal visibility in varying light conditions, to strategic composition that maintained the power and elegance of the Tom Ford aesthetic, every detail was considered to enhance brand presence. The result was a context-aware visual that elevated the campaign and reinforced Tom Ford’s signature blend of sensuality and sophistication. This project exemplified the intersection of creativity, strategy, and environment, ensuring that the brand's bold identity was powerfully communicated at scale in one of the most visually competitive urban landscapes.
